The Club house is one of the few fully preserved upper-class Palais in Frankfurt am Main.
Built in the period 1895-97 for the banker Wilhelm Bernhard Bonn, the ”Villa Bonn” was transferred into the ownership of the Frankfurter Gesellschaft für Handel, Industrie und Wissenschaft in 1923. The (court) architect at the time was the famous Berliner Ernst Eberhart von Ihne, who also built Friedrichsruh Castle in Kronberg, which is today known as the Schloßhotel, for Victoria, the widow of the German Kaiser Friedrich III.
The neo-classical architecture bears witness to the largesse and cosmopolitanism of this era. Rich decorations in timber and stucco, a modest yet representative style characterise many of the rooms for different events, be they seven, seventy or 370 participants.
The Frankfurter Gesellschaft für Handel, Industrie und Wissenschaft cordially invites you to check out this superior offer.
